A YEAR LATER + I STILL LOVE MY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR

Remember when we swapped out our basic fridge for a fancy new Samsung 3-Door French Door Food Showcase Refrigerator? Well, it's been just a little over a year now, so I wanted to give you all an update on how we're liking it so far. In short, we love it. It's a major upgrade from the stainless steel refrigerator we had previously in terms of both its modern design and function, but let me expound upon that a bit for those of you who might want a little more info.

First of all, despite it being counter depth, our new refrigerator feels way more spacious than any I've had in the past. I think this is in part due to the 3-door design, which provides a larger capacity for storing leftovers than a double-door refrigerator. I can fit a casserole dish alongside a gallon of milk and a dozen cans of sparkling water on one shelf alone! The fact that the shelves are adjustable is a major plus too.

In addition to having a large capacity refrigeration area, the freezer being located at the bottom of the fridge also provides a solid block of space for storing bigger items. I had a hard time storing anything larger than a big bag of frozen veggies or a pound of ground beef on a whole shelf with our old double-door refrigerator, since the freezer space was spread out vertically along one side of it. I've also noticed that frozen food is less likely to develop freezer burn with our new Samsung refrigerator, likely because of its Twin Cooling Plus feature, which is meant to keep the freezer dry and humidity in the fridge high at the same time. This keeps perishable foods in the fridge fresher longer as well, making it a win-win situation.

I'm also a big fan of the Food Showcase, which provides easy access to on-the-go items. I like to keep drinks, condiments, and other frequently used food items in the showcase. Not only does it provide instant access, but its metal cooling stainless steel paneling helps to lock in the cold, maintaining freshness and consistent temperature throughout the refrigerator. This is a major plus with my little ones constantly helping themselves to drinks and snacks all day long! The fingerprint-resistant finish is also nice for the same reason!

Okay, that's all folks! Thanks for reading! If you have any questions at all drop them below in the comments section and I'll do my best to answer them.
